What is the origin of Paopao Ice?
Yili Paopao ice is a popular ice cream store originally from Shilin that is known for their paopao ice made from fruit and crops. Mr. Chang founded it in Keelung in 1952 and moved to Taipei in 1955.This is a wonderful dessert enjoyed by many in Taiwan. A cross between shaved ice and snow shaved ice,it is mind-blowingly delicious. It's full of flavor and slowly melts in your mouth making you want more after each bite. There's no reason you can't enjoy it.
